Epeolus donatus Smith, 1854: 256 [♀, ♂].

     Holotype ♀. USA, Ohio, Jefferson County, Mount Pleasant [BNHM no. 17B.519]

Triepeolus cirsianus Mitchell, 1962: 463 [♂]. Synonymy by Rightmyer (2008: 57).

     Holotype ♂. USA, Indiana, Warren County, 11 August 1953, by Montgomery, on thistle [Purdue Entomological Research Collections].

Triepeolus crisianus Commonwealth Institute of Entomology, 1962: 312. Lapsus of Triepeolus cirsianus Mitchell, 1962.
