     Lectotype ♀ [designated by Linsley 1939: 440; by mention]. USA, California, by H. Edwards [ANSP no. 2270]

 

Species Notes

In the original description, Cresson indicated two ♂‚ syntypes, though Linsley (1939) indicated that the type material was female, not male. As no other account previous to 1939 indicates that type material was examined, Linsley is considered to also be the designator of a lectotype for this species, ANSP no. 2270, as per Article 74.5 (Lectotype designations before 2000) of the ICZN.
