Distribution in Canada: Hobbs and Lilly 1954 [AB]; Sheffield et al. 2011 [AB], 2014 [AB].

Hobbs and Lilly (1954: 461) indicated that this species was rare in Mixed Grass Prairies of southern AB, collecting the first Canadian specimens in 1952 (including Scandia and Seven Persons); they recorded it from Chamaenerion angustifolium and Cleomella serrulata.
