Lasioglossum atriventre (Crawford, 1906)

Properties

Scientific Name: Lasioglossum atriventre (Crawford, 1906)

Common Name: Lasioglossum atriventre

Taxonomy

Halictus atriventris Crawford, in Viereck et al. 1906: 303 [♀,♂‚] [nomen dubium by Gibbs 2010: 73]

Holotype ♀. CANADA, British Columbia, Goldstream, 27 July 1902 [Depository unknown]

Species Notes

Gibbs (2010) was unable to find type material for this species, and the specimens identified as such at the ANSP and CNC are Lasioglossum laevissimum, and L. nigroviride, respectively. The original description of this species suggests affinities to these species, both of which occur in British Columbia, though seemingly only L. laevissimum makes it to Vancouver (Gibbs 2010). Gibbs (2010) declared the species nomen dubium.
