Taxonomic notes: The ♂ is unknown (Gibbs 2011: 57, 80)
Lasioglossum ascheri Gibbs, 2011 was chosen as the valid name by Gardner and Gibbs (2021: 5) as both were described in the same work (i.e., Gibbs 2011).
Biology: Gibbs (2011: 59) indicated that Lasioglossum ascheri Gibbs, 2011 is likely a social parasite or cleptoparasite of nest-building Lasioglossum (Dialictus) Robertson, 1902.
