Scientific Name: Andrena robertsonii Dalla Torre, 1896

Common Name: Andrena robertsonii

Taxonomy

Andrena serotina Robertson, 1893a: 148 [♀, not ♂‚] [nec A. serotina Desstefani, 1880]

Andrena robertsonii Dalla Torre, 1896: 149 [replacement name for A. serotina Robertson]

Andrena (Gonandrenadreisbachi Mitchell, 1960: 230 [♀] [synonymy by LaBerge (1977)]

Note: ♂‚ was described by LaBerge (1977) (1977). LaBerge (1977) indicated that this species and A. brevipalpis have been confused often in the past. Thus, it is likely that most records of A. robertsonii in the literature from Canada (e.g., Mitchell (1960), Knerer and Atwood (1964b), Sheffield et al. (2003)) likely refer to A. brevipalpis.
