     Holotype ♀. USA, Wisconsin, Milwaukee, 14 September [no year provided], by S. Graenicher, on Parnassia caroliniana [USNM no. 18920].


Species Notes

The ♂ was described by Graenicher (1904: 66). This species was not included in Donvan’s (1977) revision, despite its known affinities to other Cnemidandrena (see Cockerell 1902: 105; Graenicher 1910: 160). LaBerge (1986: 194) placed it within the subgenus Cnemidandrena.
